As we are all aware fuel prices are a large factor in shipping costs and shipping quotes for freight carriers and customers alike.

All America Transportation, Inc. has implemented a Fuel Surcharge to offset the rising cost of fuel.  This Fuel Surcharge is a per mile charge in addition to the Base Freight Rate and is based on the U.S. Department of Energy’s weekly fuel index.  The index can be found at http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/gdu/gasdiesel.asp.
