Average Prices for Trucking Services Increases - July 28, 2011
Average prices for all trucking services increased .09 % for the month of May 2011.  This was the 10 th consecutive month prices have increased.  Year over year truckload and LTL prices have increased 4.5 %.  Increasing demand for trucks, higher fuel costs, and shortage in truck capacity have contributed to the pricing increases.  Forecast models show an overall yearly increase in cost upward to 6.4 % for 2011.  This forecast is the largest annual increase since 2008
